Beautiful Holiday House in Groß Schoritz with Sunny Terrace

This is a comfortable holiday bungalow away from the holiday masses, in a tranquil area nestled into a picturesque natural landscape. It is by the Schoritzer Wiek, with nature reserves and natural swimming beaches for relaxing. The well-developed network of cycle trails invites you to go on exploratory tours in the area.



The one-storey house provides 60m² of living space, comprising a cosy living room, an open and well-equipped kitchen-diner, a shower room and a bedroom. It is charmingly furnished and a little surprise awaits you on arrival. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200cm), bedside tables and reading lamps. After a day trip, you can relax in the living room on two sofas, with a fire in the fireplace exuding a cosy atmosphere and the flatscreen TV providing entertainment. The pull-out sofa bed can accommodate a third and fourth guest in the living room. There is an adjoining open kitchen that enables comprehensive self-catering with a hob with four cooking rings and an oven, dishwasher, microwave, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Towels, bed linen and a dog basket are provided. A child’s bed can be set up in the bedroom on request. A highchair is also available.



The sunny terrace will entice you outdoors with a fireplace-charcoal grill, campfire area, a canopy beach chair and deckchairs. If it should rain, the roofed terrace provides entertainment with a pool table or table tennis. There is also a parking space for bicycles. The enclosed site is suitable for children and dogs and provides ample space. A private parking space is available for you.



Bookings outside of the summer season are possible on request.


Note: The bungalow is currently being renovated (as of December 2022). New pictures will follow as soon as the renovation is completed.



Apart from riding and a sports park, the surroundings provide possibilities for fishing, jogging, hiking and kite surfing within 3-5 kilometres. Shopping facilities, gastronomy and banks can be found nearby in Garz, the oldest town on the island Rügen, 5km away. You can go on day trips to the Baltic seaside towns on the island or to Stralsund on the mainland by car within 20 minutes. Groß Schoritz can be accessed not only via the Rügen Bridge, but also by means of the Glewitz ferry nearby, to avoid traffic jams.

    “Für Familien mit Kindern und Hunden zu empfehlen. Wir waren mit 3 Hunden dort. Positiv: Der grosse Garten für die und die ruhige Lage.
    Das Haus hat einen eigenen Parkplatz und liegt sehr idylisch.
    Die nahegelegene Bucht Palmer Ort.
    Eine sehr nette Vermieterin die man jederzeit ansprechen konnte. Negativ: Für alles musste man das Auto nehmen.
    Nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ca 4km entfernt. Restaurant: Glückauf in Sellin - Mitten auf der Promenade gelegen.
    Sehr gutes Essen und sehr freundliches Personal. Ausflüge: Königsstuhl - Muss man sich vorher überlegen.
    Ca 8 km hin und zurück zu laufen ab Parkplatz. Teuer Parken und je Person 10 Euro Eintritt.”

    “Sehr ruhiges Haus sehr hundefreundlich nette Vermieterin. Küchenausstattung könnte etwas größer sein z.b. eine schere. Auch ein staubsauger gerade mit hund und Sand wäre vorteilhaft. Tat aber unseren Urlaub keinen Abbruch waren voll zufrieden.”

    “Für die Tiere ein tolles Grundstück. Nur leider sehr weit von allem entfernt.(wenn man nicht immer das Auto nutzen möchte) Zum Gassi gehen ganz tolle Wege in der Natur. Positiv: Freilauf für die Hunde war ganz toll. Sie konnten sich auf beiden Seiten des Hofes frei bewegen da alles eingezäunt war. Fahrradwege gut ausgebaut. Sehr viel Ruhe. Negativ: Der erste äußere Eindruck war etwas erschreckend. Doch drinnen war es O.K. Grundstück wirkte durch das etwas verwachsene Grün ungepflegt. Doch nach einem Anruf beim Vermieter, wurde der Zustand, allein durch Rasen mähen, verbessert. Restaurant: Il Rustico, Losentitz 14, 18574 Garz/ Rügen - gutes Essen, tolle Bedienung”
