This imposing holiday home is in fact a beautifully restored medieval watch tower. Its beautifully located in the Italian countryside amongst the ever so famous Tuscan Umbrian hills. The house is split over three levels and has been renovated to a good standard. The middle floor is the main living space where guests will be abler to enjoy a spacious living / sitting room and a kitchen. There are a further three bedrooms two of which are on the lower floor, and one in the tower on the higher (second floor). The house is set in a well maintained garden where they will have access to a private swimming pool and terrace. Perched on a hillside the panoramic views will not disappoint. The medieval towns of Monterchi, Citerna and Anghiari are close-by and well worth a visit. The local restaurants offer traditional specialities from the surrounding areas like ham, Pecorino sheep cheese, mushrooms and truffles. The house is a good starting point for hikes and trips to Arezzo, Sansepolcro, Citta di Castello and Perugia.

    “Het vakantiehuis is in orde, ruime kamers, een heerlijk groot mooi zwembad. De keuken viel echt wel heel klein uit en de badkamers ook. Het gras in de tuin mocht wel eens gemaaid worden. Vrijwel alles was aanwezig. In het hoog seizoen iets te duur vind ik naar het comfort er aanwezig is. De onverharde weg ernaar toe is ook vrij lastig om de woning te bereiken, je hebt eigenlijk een 4*4 nodig.
