Comfortable, modern holiday apartment in a renovated old villa with a large garden, for nature lovers and free spirits

The villa, nestled into a park with a rose and perennial garden, enjoys a central and quiet location. The Kurpark, leisure centre and a large children’s playground are within about a five-minute walk. The Cistercian monastery, an important part of the UNESCO world cultural heritage site "Rammelsberg ore mine, Goslau old town and Oberharz water conservancy”, with its impressive modern museum, is only about a ten-minute walk from Villa Brodthage.

You can relax in the big garden with century-old trees and a pond with lilies, as well as the newly designed rose and perennial garden. There is a generous garden sitting area with comfortable garden furniture, a parasol and grill in the sunny orchard right by the house. There are further seating and loungers, as well as a campfire area, in the park. The park was laid out according to the ideas of the garden architect Rudolf Ehlgötz in the 1930s. The apartment has a car parking space and lockable storage space for bicycles or skis.

The holiday apartments are on the sunny side of the Harz in the monastery town Walkenried in an interesting landscape with charming nature, a variety of culture and an exciting history. The very comfortable, modern holiday apartment (non-smoking) measures around 122m². The apartment is characterised by a contemporary and stylish atmosphere. The living room with a sofa bed, a two-seater, an armchair, a coffee table, a dining table with four chairs, cable TV and a home cinema system 2.1, the first bedroom with a big double bed, an armchair, a wardrobe and a sideboard, the second bedroom wth two single beds, the hallway with cloakroom space and the fully-equipped kitchen have functional furnishing and fittings. The bathroom provides a shower, bath, WC and washbasin. The apartment also has free Internet access and a free parking space by the property. Out of consideration for allergy sufferers, pets are not allowed. The property is not suitable for the disabled.

    “Vielen Dank für diesen wunderschönen Urlaub. Positiv: Unsere Ferienwohnung in der Villa war sehr sauber und auch sehr groß. Die Ausstattung ist
    sehr komfortabel und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Villa ist sehr ruhig gelegen und
    hat einen großen wunderschönen Park mit Teich.
    Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und immer ansprechbar. Restaurant: Leos Deutsches Restaurant - Kleines Restaurant mit traditioneller deutscher Küche. (Bad Sachsa) Ausflüge: Waldschwimmbad in Zorge - Günstige Eintrittspreise. Kombiniertes Schwimmer-und Nichtschwimmerbecken
    mit 2 Sprungtürmen und Wasserrutsche und ein Babybecken.
    Ausreichend Toiletten und Umkleidekabinen.”

    “Mooi en compleet appartement op de eerste verdieping van een villa uit de jaren dertig. Ruim en voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Ook een wasmachine, wat scheelt in wat je mee moet nemen. Wij verbleven er anderhalve week. Prachtig weer gehad, dus genoten van balkon, maar nog meer van de enorm grote tuin. Met vijver, hoogteverschillen en verschillende plaatsen om te zitten, te eten of te drinken. Of met de bal te spelen. Mooi en romantisch prieeltje. Vriendelijke eigenaren die zelf ook in de villa wonen.
    Wij bewoonden het grootste appartrement, maar er is ook een appartement voor 2 of 4 personen.”

    “Ein Haus aus den 30Jahren, dass liebevoll und detailliert saniert wurde. Wunderschöne große Räume und ein alter Parkettfußboden. Die Wohnung hatte alles, was man brauchte. Wir haben uns den vielen Räumen sehr wohl gefühlt.”

    “Zeer mooi en comfortabel appartement. Alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt, grote kamers, mooie badkamer en keuken. Heel prettig om hier een week te verblijven. Zeer gastvrije verhuurders. Grootste pluspunt is de sprookjesachtige grote tuin compleet met vijver en prieel.”
